Research Technologist, Materials Science and Engineering
The University of Arizona is seeking a Research Technologist in the Materials Science and Engineering department. The role involves maintaining and operating materials testing equipment while supporting research projects and industry partnerships.

Responsibilities
Set-up and operate electro-mechanical and servo-hydraulic materials testing machines located in the Mines and ARB building at the University of Arizona
Provide routine maintenance and upkeep of test equipment and facilities
Provide safety training and oversee graduate and undergraduate students operating testing equipment in Mines and ARB building
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Knowledge of testing standards (ASTM)
Preferred
Degree in Advanced Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, or Engineering
Hands-on experience working with electro-mechanical and servo-hydraulic systems
