They are seeking a Security Analyst (Contract) to support their External Attack Surface Intelligence operations by reviewing exposure data and contributing to security intelligence outputs.

Responsibilities

Review and validate findings from Attaxion’s attack surface discovery and risk detection systems, providing concise written assessments of exposed or misconfigured assets
Collaborate with internal teams to clarify findings and improve data accuracy
Contribute to the creation of internal intelligence notes and summaries
Stay up to date and share relevant vulnerability trends and emerging threats
Share relevant Attaxion findings, methodologies, or research takeaways within professional cybersecurity circles
Provide feedback and community insights to help refine Attaxion’s positioning and technical messaging for security practitioners

Qualification

Cybersecurity analysisVulnerability managementThreat intelligenceExposure assessment toolsCloud infrastructureBasic scriptingRelevant certifications

Required

4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, or attack surface management
Solid understanding of how attackers exploit exposed services, outdated technologies, and misconfigurations
Familiarity with vulnerability frameworks such as CVSS and EPSS, and databases like NVD, CISA KEV, and Exploit DB
Experience with exposure assessment tools, vulnerability scanners, or SIEM platforms
Working knowledge of cloud and internet-facing infrastructure (AWS, Azure, DNS, WHOIS, IP intelligence)

Preferred

Basic scripting or data querying (Python, SQL) for validation or enrichment is a plus
Relevant certifications (e.g., GIAC GCTI, CompTIA Security+, CEH) are appreciated but not required
