Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, implementation, and management of network infrastructures

Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS

Develop and maintain network automation scripts using Python and Ansible

Use GitHub for version control and collaboration on network automation projects

Conduct network performance analysis and implement optimizations

Ensure network security and adherence to industry standards and compliance

Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures

Provide guidance and support to junior engineers on technical tasks

Help document network configurations, procedures, and basic designs

Required

5 years of relevant experience in networking or telecommunications

Solid experience with BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS routing protocols

Strong understanding of Layer 2 networking technologies, including MPLS and EVPL

Proven problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and other major network equipment manufacturers

Knowledge of network security practices and technologies

Experience working with remote Technicians on site

Preferred

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP) are a plus

Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with SDN (Software-Defined Networking) technologies is a plus
