Software Configuration Management Engineer II
RTX is a company focused on innovation and technology, seeking a Software Configuration Management Engineer II to work as a Software Transfer Agent onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves building relationships across teams, automating transfer procedures, and supporting customers throughout the program lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong working relationships across all teams
Automate and streamline transfer procedures and processes
Create customized / tailored configurations, workflows, automations, reports, and integrations that meet specific program, customer and/or site requirements
Trouble-shoot / repair issues, escalations, and action items
Maintain familiarity with program schedule, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
Support internal and external customers in a technical capacity throughout the program lifecycle
Ensure site baseline and post deploy verifications
Perform and lead coordination of data transfers, courier support among various environments
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) AND a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience
Experience in debugging/troubleshooting of connectivity issues in complex systems
Automation experience shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
Strong background in task automation
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with scripting programming languages (i.e., Perl, shell, PHP, C#, batch, Python, Ruby, or YAML)
Work effectively with stakeholders from cross discipline organizations
Experience with the Atlassian Suite, CloudBees Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Chef, Rundeck
