KPMG US is seeking a Data Management Consultant to provide services through contracted employer/agency service providers. The role involves designing enterprise-grade dimensional data models, developing scalable data pipelines, and ensuring data security while optimizing performance of large datasets.

Responsibilities

Experience designing enterprise grade dimensional data models based on business processes and entities

Experience developing DDL/DML for data models in SQL and dbt

Experience developing scalable Python data pipelines with Airflow

Experience aligning conceptual and logical data models to cloud infrastructure

Experience working with Snowflake, cloud native data warehouses, and Lakehouse architectures

Experience completing pull request reviews, working with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines

Experience optimizing the performance of large datasets using different materializations, CDC, and code optimization techniques

Experience designing and evaluating solutions for infrastructure and data security

Ability to take a big picture, technical architectural perspective to design extensible solutions

Consumer and Retail data and industry knowledge is a plus
