Responsibilities
Design enterprise grade dimensional data models based on business processes and entities
Develop DDL/DML for data models in SQL and dbt
Complete pull request reviews, working with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum six years of recent experience
Experience aligning conceptual and logical data models to cloud infrastructure
Proven experience working with Snowflake, cloud native data warehouses, and Lakehouse architectures
Solid background in optimizing the performance of large datasets using different materializations, CDC, and code optimization techniques
Experience designing and evaluating solutions for infrastructure and data security
Ability to take a big picture and technical architectural perspective to design extensible solutions
Track record of developing scalable Python data pipelines with Airflow
Preferred
Consumer and Retail data and industry knowledge is a plus
