Sales Manager Beverage- East Coast
Kalon Executive Search for Nutraceuticals, CPG and Wellness is seeking a Sales Manager for Beverages. This role is essential for driving revenue growth across the beverage and food & beverage categories, focusing on acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing accounts.

Responsibilities
Achieve annual sales targets while monitoring performance and taking corrective action when needed
Develop and retain customers across North America, with additional opportunities in international markets depending on regulatory approval
Conduct quarterly business reviews and implement action plans for any performance gaps
Build annual customer-level forecasts and projections
Manage monthly forecasting by SKU and customer
Negotiate and execute sales contracts, pricing, and business terms to optimize financial results
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D/Scientific Affairs, Marketing, Production, Customer Service, Logistics, Warehouse, Finance, and Accounting
Attend industry trade shows and conferences in partnership with internal teams
Stay current on industry sales analytics and category trends using tools such as SPINS and related market data
Maintain a strong understanding of category, channel, customer, and competitive landscapes; share insights and recommend proactive strategies
Qualification
Required
10+ years of sales experience in the ingredients or food & beverage industry
Proven leadership in ingredient sales, customer management, and distributor engagement
Experience conducting direct sales visits at customer headquarters
Background in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments with success selling technical products requiring education-based sales strategies
Familiarity with customer requirements across quality, regulatory, and operational logistics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to buyers, R&D teams, and marketing groups
Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong organizational and follow-up abilities; resourceful, self-driven, and results-oriented team player
Ability to travel up to 30%
