The ideal candidate will have experience in structural design, specifically in steel frame structures, and will be responsible for developing designs, reviewing code requirements, and preparing structural analyses and drawings.

Responsibilities

Develop design of steel structures with assistance from Senior Engineer
Review code requirements and establish analyses criteria
Develop structural arrangement models and drawings
Prepare design analyses demonstrating the suitability of structures for supporting applied loads
Prepare details for connections
Review and check engineering drawings for use in fabrication and installation
Communicate with others on the project team and with the customer’s technical personnel

Qualification

Structural designSteel frame structuresAutoCADSTAAD softwareCommunication skills

Required

Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering degree
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
Strong verbal and written communications skills
AutoCAD or equivalent experience required

Preferred

STAAD structural analysis and design software experience preferred
