Financial Program Coordinator
Florida State University is one of the nation's elite research universities, and they are seeking a Financial Program Coordinator to deliver comprehensive accounting and fiscal support for over $200 million in awards from Triumph Gulf Coast. This role involves ensuring strict financial compliance, serving as a liaison between TGC and FSU, and promoting effective collaboration among departments.

Responsibilities
Evaluating expenditures on all TGC contracts and grants to determine allowability and compliance with each award’s terms and conditions
Reviewing and approving all disbursement requests for TGC, maintaining consistency in billing and financial reporting, and monitoring accounts receivable
Overseeing project closeout activities and other assigned financial oversight duties to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification is required or must be obtained within one year of employment
This position requires successful completion of the eSPEAR certification or the ability to obtain the certification within six months of hire
Preferred
Experience in research administration
Experience using PeopleSoft/Oracle
Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment
Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills
Ability to review and reconcile financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations, as well as University policies and procedures
Knowledge of accounting systems and practices
