This role involves managing incoming asset inspections, leading quality meetings, and coordinating corrective actions with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities

Manage/execute new incoming assets inspection (IQC) to ensure products are in accordance to established standards

Manage/execute New Product Introduction Inspection (OOBE) with cross functional teams

Document inspection results and drive ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) for improvement

Interpret, formulate, assess, and execute critical product quality related issues both externally with partners and internally among key stakeholders

Lead weekly quality meetings and review quality and service reports from vendors. Identify potential quality issues and plan for resolutions

Manage our Supplier organizations to improve product/process quality

Occasional travel to audit manufacturing facilities (domestic/international)

Support resource for special projects

Required

A minimum education level of: 4 year college degree (Bachelor of Science preferred)

Years of related work experience: 3+ years of Quality Control/Quality Assurance in consumer electronics

Ability to work independently to formulate responses to enforce overall product quality

Preferred

Mandarin Chinese is a plus
