This executive-level role will involve building the MGA from the ground up, defining underwriting strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance while collaborating with product and technology teams.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end build-out of the MGA

Define the underwriting strategy

Secure and manage carrier and reinsurance partnerships

Build pricing and risk frameworks

Put in place all regulatory, compliance, and operational foundations

Lead the creation of underwriting guidelines, product structure, and governance

Ensure the MGA integrates cleanly with the fintech’s existing product and technology stack

Assemble and lead the core insurance team across underwriting, compliance, operations, and claims

Establish the processes required to scale responsibly

Collaborate with product, engineering, and commercial leadership to ensure the insurance offering continues to evolve in line with customer demand while maintaining underwriting discipline and risk control
