Responsibilities
Manage customer projects from initial inquiry through order placement
Communicate directly with engineers, plant managers, and technical decision-makers
Review customer specifications and work with our engineering team to design solutions
Develop cost estimates and sales proposals for custom thermal-processing equipment
Remain active during the build process by supporting customers, engineering, and manufacturing
Establish trusted, long-term relationships with customers across multiple projects
Assist with after-sale support, system upgrades, and future project opportunities
Participate in trade shows and technical events as a representative of Abbott Furnace Company
Document, monitor, and follow up on opportunities using the company CRM system
Qualification
Required
An engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
A background in heat treating, sintering, brazing, or similar thermal processes
The ability to read technical drawings and interpret process requirements
A background in machine assembly, fabrication, piping, or pneumatics is a strong advantage
Preferred
Experience in technical or industrial sales, capital equipment, or engineered-to-order products is a bonus, not a requirement
