ERP Security Specialist (PeopleSoft)
BuzzClan is seeking an experienced Information Security Architect / PeopleSoft Security Administrator to manage and enhance application security across enterprise ERP environments. This role focuses on designing, maintaining, and optimizing a scalable and audit-compliant PeopleSoft security model, while collaborating with various teams to ensure system stability and compliance.

Responsibilities
Maintain and administer the existing PeopleSoft ERP security model to support business rules and user access requests
Design, configure, and optimize dynamic security models, including:
Route controls
ChartField security
Workflow approvals
User preferences
Custom permission lists and roles
Query security trees
Ensure security configurations align with audit, compliance, and governance requirements
Participate in internal and external audits related to PeopleSoft security
Prepare and support audit responses, including documentation and evidence
Review, update, and maintain comprehensive security model documentation
Collaborate with DBAs, application system administrators, developers, and functional teams on:
Security troubleshooting and tuning
Scripting and automation (SQL, Shell, etc.)
System refreshes and configuration support
Report and query security setup
Support ERP environments across web, application, integration, and batch tiers
Monitor application logs and security alerts to identify and resolve issues proactively
Participate in patching, upgrades, and production releases
Provide support for system alerts, outages, and business continuity needs
Participate in after-hours or on-call support as required
Review security-related notifications and application logs
Coordinate with security teams to assess and implement required actions
Support functional and development teams with security-related issues
Assist end users through Help Desk ticket resolution as appropriate
Partner with stakeholders to design new or enhanced security requirements
Identify opportunities to improve or automate security processes
Strengthen security controls through documentation and process enhancements
Timely completion and resolution of Service Manager tickets
Active participation in team status meetings and progress reporting
Consistent support of project milestones and operational objectives
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience as a PeopleSoft Security Administrator supporting HCM and FSCM
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft security architecture and dynamic security models
Experience supporting audit and compliance initiatives
Proficiency in SQL and scripting for automation and troubleshooting
Experience working across ERP technical tiers (web, app, integration, batch)
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid onsite environment
CJIS eligibility is mandatory
Preferred
Experience supporting large, complex ERP environments
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
