This Summer, they are looking to add a Product Engineering Intern who will support continuous improvement projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The intern will analyze current manufacturing processes and present improvement proposals to the engineering team.

Responsibilities

Analyze current manufacturing process, providing data driven improvements on the process area assigned by the engineering manager

Present improvement proposal to Engineering manager and team for feedback and approval

Execute, with Engineering team support, project improvements

Create/revise Manufacturing Process Instructions and/or Preventative Maintenance Instructions based on the improvements implemented

Attend team meetings and support project work as needed

Required

Currently enrolled Senior pursuing degree Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited university

Microsoft Office Suite

Mini-tab or equivalent data analysis tools

Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills

Self-motivated, high energy and strong time management skills

Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in teams and collaborate with others

Demonstrated leadership skills and team orientation

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Available to start on May 26th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment

Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university

3.0 minimum GPA
