LEA BOP Policy and Fiscal Analyst (Hybrid Option)

The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is seeking an LEA BOP Policy and Fiscal Analyst to support the administration of the Local Educational Agency Medi-Cal Billing Option Program. The role involves developing program policy, overseeing fiscal procedures, and providing analytical support in collaboration with various partners.

Responsibilities

Provides a wide range of analytical support developing administrative and analytical staff assignments relating to the scope of the LEA BOP
Works in cooperation with the LEA Advisory Workgroup, internal and external departmental partners, and internal and external program partners to perform research, analysis, planning, public communication, policy formulation, and program evaluation
Maintains an environment of teamwork and cohesion with contracted resources, co-workers, and enrolled LEA BOP Providers

Required

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred
Professional, coachable, organized individual for a fast-paced position that provides enough variety to stay interesting but is consistent enough so you can become a subject matter expert
Competency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is required; additional training will be available
Applicants must include a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for this recruitment
The SOQ must be no more than two pages in length, double-spaced and using 12-point font
