Responsibilities

Complete orders from Physicians, Nurses, Administrators and other members of Medical Staff regarding physical and electronic medical records
Reviewing, scanning, indexing, uploading and attaching paper records and documents into EHR while maintaining the security and confidentiality of all health information
Retrieves and updates patient records upon request and maintains custody files for records removed from department
Perform all Medical Record functions involving physical (paper) health information records and Electronic Health Records(EHR)
Work with adult male inmates of all custody levels – minimum, medium, maximum (death row) and protective custody

Required

One year of experience in administrative services
One year of training in or completion of a business or clerical-related curriculum from a business school or technical institute
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the required general experience
