Entry Level Graphics Software Developer

Responsibilities

Develop critical training systems like the CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer
Craft real-time, three-dimensional graphics systems including a submarine periscope simulation, a submarine bridge simulation, and a ship weapons simulation
Work in a Linux environment, and write software in C++ and OpenGL, utilizing the Unreal graphics engine and various software packages
Contribute to impactful projects, with systems going into production in as little as six months

Required

B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance (Interim Secret clearance required upon employment)
Some experience/education developing 3D graphics applications, in C++ utilizing low level APIs
Some experience with game programming, 3D graphics development, or other visual simulation systems
Experience utilizing a graphics engine, like Unreal, OpenSceneGraph, or similar

Preferred

Advanced degree, ongoing education in computer science, or an advanced math/physics background
Knowledge of basic CPU/GPU hardware as it relates to C++ and the PCI Bus, CPU, GPU and RAM optimization
Familiarity with high performance computing and general graphics hardware
Developing for Virtual Reality headsets
Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot, OpenSceneGraph or VulkanSceneGraph engines
Experience with Nvidia Nsight or similar profiling tools
3DS Max, Maya, Photoshop, or similar modeling tools
Linux proficiency
