Responsibilities
Architect enterprise-level applications and frameworks with microservices and distributed design
Lead technical discovery and planning sessions, evaluate proof-of-concepts and new technologies
Define coding standards, conduct architecture/code reviews, and ensure performance, security, and compliance
Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with functional and non-functional requirements
Mentor and guide developers, drive knowledge sharing, and productivity improvements
Recommend architecture for database, messaging, DevOps pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field
10 years of software engineering experience
7 years in architecture roles with deep expertise in C#, .NET 6/Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API
Strong grasp of microservices, SOA, and n-tier architecture
Proficiency in Azure and preferably AWS, including serverless, AKS, Logic Apps
Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git), unit testing frameworks, and DevOps practices
Solid understanding of security best practices (OAuth, encryption, OWASP)
Certifications in Azure Solutions Architect, AWS, TOGAF, or CISSP
Knowledge of SOA standards (WCF/REST), CI/CD pipelines, logging and monitoring tools
Client-facing experience with financial or insurance products, .NET customizations, or CMS platforms
