Senior Land Planner
CPH is a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. They are seeking a Senior Land Planner with 7+ years of professional experience to work on private and public development projects, collaborating closely with the Director of Planning.

Responsibilities
In this position you will work collaboratively with the Director of Planning on private and public development projects ranging from large scale master planned communities, mixed-use, residential developments, commercial, industrial projects, and special studies
Experience preparing reports, including due diligence reports, site feasibility studies and justification statements
Ability to conduct zoning code, land development regulation and comprehensive plan research, and apply standards to site specific development proposals
Demonstrated experience with preparing submittal documents, including rezoning, comprehensive plan amendments, development order amendments, variances, and site plan approval applications
Collaborate with CPH Civil Engineers to apply code and land use regulations, and address agency comments
Must have strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
Collaborate with Principal Planner in maintaining records and project schedules, analyzing data and maintaining budgets
Strong report writing, written, verbal and design communication skills for preparation of presentation materials and correspondence
Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) and AutoCAD
Must be proficient in outlook, word, excel, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated organization and time management skills
Manage and direct entry-level planners, including reviewing quality of work
Manage planning deliverables and minor submittals effectively and meet deadlines
Design experience
Must be able to demonstrate ability to prepare sketches, concepts, and site plan graphic
Design experience in preparing land plans, site plans and master plans
Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional experience in land planning

Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban or Regional Planning or related field (Architecture, Landscape Architecture) from an accredited four-year college
A Master's Degree in Urban Regional Planning from a PAB Accredited Planning Program will substitute for 1 year of experience
Possesses AICP Certification
Congress for New Urbanism Accreditation (CNU-a)
Demonstrated 5 - 7 years of employment experience
Management of planning related tasks or phases
