Sauk County is seeking a GIS Intern to assist with GIS projects and land records information. The role involves data development, maintenance, GPS data collection, and the creation of web maps and cartographic products using the latest ESRI technology.

Government Administration

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and maintenance of GIS data utilizing the latest ESRI technology
Prepare GIS data and cartographic layouts for customers
Assist with field collection projects utilizing Field Maps
Assist with GIS functions utilizing spatial analysis
Assist with Land Resources and Environment projects
Assist the public with map inquiries
Utilize GIS and Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment
Assist in the creation of various GIS Web Applications and Dashboards
Assist with data model development and testing
And other duties as assigned

Required

Currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's program for Geography, Cartography, Computer Science, or another related field
Wisconsin State Motor Vehicle Operator's License
