The University of Arizona is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate I for Dr. Xinglong Wang's lab in the R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy. The successful candidate will design and conduct research projects focused on TDP-43 neurotoxicity and mitochondrial dysfunction in neurodegeneration, while also engaging in manuscript writing and laboratory management.

Assist in grant and manuscript editing and writing
Assist in routine laboratory management and maintaining lab equipment

Qualification

Molecular biology techniquesCell biology techniquesNeuroscience backgroundPeer-reviewed publication recordEnglish

Required

Ph.D. in neuroscience, Biology or related field
Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English

Preferred

Peer-reviewed publication record and working experience in molecular biology and cell biology techniques are highly desirable
A background in the field of neuroscience is desirable
