Responsibilities

Planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
Conducting recruitment efforts, including writing job descriptions, placing advertisements, screening and interviewing candidates, performing reference checks, extending job offers, and conducting new-employee orientations
Performance management and improvement of systems including performance development plans and employee evaluation programs
Ensuring the organization is in compliance with local, state and federal regulations
Overseeing the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization
Employee onboarding, offboarding, development, needs assessment, and training
Policy & procedure development and documentation
Company employee and community communication
Compensation and benefits administration
Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health
Employee services and counseling
Designing and implementing employee retention strategies and continuing focus on positive company culture

Qualification

Required

5+ years of direct experience in human resources management
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development
Planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
Conducting recruitment efforts, including writing job descriptions, placing advertisements, screening and interviewing candidates, performing reference checks, extending job offers, and conducting new-employee orientations
Performance management and improvement of systems including performance development plans and employee evaluation programs
Ensuring the organization is in compliance with local, state and federal regulations
