Marketing Communications Manager
The Greater Sedona Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit serving the business community of Sedona and the Verde Valley. The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for leading the Chamber’s brand, messaging, and storytelling across business advocacy, tourism, events, and community initiatives.

Responsibilities
Create new and edit existing content on SedonaChamber.com and VisitSedona.com
Develop monthly Consumer Newsletter and the weekly Business Bulletin
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns for Chamber programs, events, and initiatives
Creation of content calendar and management of Social Media Manager
Edit Chamber communications for grammar or style upon request
Create monthly articles and press releases for local newspapers
Overseeing partner submissions and regular organic posts related to chamber events and promotions
Review and advocate for new social channels and tools to advance the organization’s goals
Coordinate digital and social marketing/promotional campaign needs, collecting necessary elements, and ensuring execution with vendors (e.g., Destination Signals)
Assist the Membership Manager and the President/CEO with other marketing programs (e.g., Business Improvement District)
Represent Chamber at designated events and meetings
Maintain and update Sedona photo and video assets
Ensure consistency of our brand across channels
Function as liaison for affinity groups and committees
Respond to media inquiries
Other duties as assigned by President/CEO
Qualification
Required
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Advanced writing skills in a variety of forms such as AP-style news releases, web copy, advertising, radio/video scripts, official correspondence
Knowledge of media and public relations
Fluency with CMS, social media, and email management software
Experience in social media campaigns and web copy development
Digital marketing experience
Advanced organizational ability
Flexibility in a fast-moving environment
Ability to manage third party contractors
Public speaking/presentations and tourism experience a plus
Four-year degree from an accredited academic institution in marketing, journalism, communications, public relations, or related field
5+ years' experience in marketing similar or related field
2+ years' experience in PR/communications
Combination of education and experience may be considered
