Manager-Fleet Compliance

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing fleet compliance team, including directing, planning, interviewing, selecting, training, and assessing performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Oversee compliance with all relevant environmental and regulatory laws, including licensing, plating, fueling, insuring the fleet, and ensuring adherence to FMCSA and DOT requirements, conducting regular audits and risk assessments
Manage relationships with internal and external mechanics, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of services, including invoice payment processing and financial analysis
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet compliance, prepare detailed reports, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement and risk mitigation
Manage the fleet compliance budget, monitor expenditures, and implement expense reduction initiatives while ensuring adherence to financial goals and performance requirements
Qualification
Required
3+ years of related experience
Managerial experience with bargained employees
Analyze data, review processes, and develop process diagrams
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
Experience with Power BI preferred
Leadership experience
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) preferred
