The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) is one of the largest trade associations in the nation, representing manufacturers in the HVAC industry. They are seeking an enthusiastic intern for their Program Operations Team to support the development of Product Category Rules and contribute to the AHRI Environmental Product Declaration program.

Responsibilities

Support the development of Product Category Rules for the AHRI Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) program, by analyzing life cycle assessment results, product information, and existing standards to create draft calculations and language

Develop calculations to estimate life cycle energy use of various types of HVACR (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration) equipment

Develop or improve documentation (forms, checklists, flowcharts, etc.) for processes within the AHRI EPD Program
