Responsibilities
Managing the reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly financial performance of Amazon Pharmacy provider and health system partners
Develop both input and output metrics that provides business leadership insight into how partners are impacting pharmacy financials, and package them in dashboards and weekly reporting
Assist the Provider Services team during contracting negotiations providing them with the financial impacts derived from changes to financial terms agreed to in the contracts
Translate the financial terms within partner contracts into financial models to produce forward looking pharmacy operating plans on a quarterly/annual basis
Leverage transactional data to build financial accruals that aligns the monthly pharmacy financials to guaranteed terms agreed to within each partner contract
Qualification
Required
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
Preferred
6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
