Responsibilities

Create and review civil engineering designs for land development projects, ensuring designs are efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable
Create detailed site layouts, ensuring optimal use of space and functionality
Utilize civil engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D for project design and analysis
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes
Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance checks on designs and plans
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff, providing technical oversight and professional development support
Prepare and submit permit applications
Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and standards
Collaborate with regulatory agencies to address compliance issues and obtain necessary approvals
Serve as a technical expert for clients, providing detailed explanations and addressing technical concerns
Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring they are well-informed on technical aspects of projects
Apply strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex engineering challenges
Propose and implement innovative and sustainable engineering solutions to improve project outcomes

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil3D and other relevant tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies
