Brookfield Renewable U.S. is a leader in the renewable energy sector, seeking an intern for their Projects and Optimization team. The intern will support operational efficiency improvements, process enhancements, and strategic initiatives across renewable energy assets, gaining hands-on experience in project management and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, tracking, and reporting on ongoing projects related to asset performance and operational improvements
Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
Support development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and finance to ensure project alignment and execution
Prepare presentations, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders to communicate project progress and outcomes
Research industry best practices and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement efforts

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Interest in renewable energy and sustainability

Preferred

Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana)
Basic understanding of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, storage)
Experience with data analysis software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
