Business Development Representative
The Cake is a well-funded AI-driven ad tech/martech company rapidly expanding its US presence. They are seeking experienced Business Development Representatives to drive enterprise sales of its cognitive audience intelligence platform, focusing on prospecting and closing deals with brands and agencies.
Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new enterprise opportunities across brands, agencies, and holding companies
Run full-cycle sales processes for complex ad tech/martech platform deals
Articulate the value of AI-powered audience intelligence to marketing and advertising leaders
Collaborate closely with sales leadership to refine messaging and strategy
Consistently hit and exceed quota targets in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Qualification
Required
3+ years of platform/software sales experience in ad tech or martech
Proven track record of carrying and exceeding quota in enterprise sales cycles
Deep understanding of programmatic, data-driven marketing, or audience intelligence solutions
Legally authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship available)
Preferred
Have sold solutions similar to StackAdapt, Simpli.fi, or other programmatic/martech platforms
Bring a strong existing network within brands, agencies, or holding companies
Have thrived in early-stage or high-growth startup environments
