Responsibilities
Automate the provisioning of AWS environments and build infrastructure from the ground up using Terraform
Design and develop automation workflows, perform unit testing and conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and resiliency
Develop automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, scripts, and self-service capabilities to support platform operations
Provide technical direction and mentorship to a team of engineers on pipeline management, automation, and development best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders, leadership, vendors, and other engineering teams to communicate technical solutions and solve complex business challenges
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in software development and engineering
7+ years of experience in DevOps / DevSecOps and AWS cloud operations in enterprise or shared-services environments
Strong expertise in cloud-native build and deployment pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation), Kubernetes / platform engineering, Docker, Jenkins, and Python
Expert-level knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, and related cloud automation and orchestration services
Proven experience designing and deploying containerized and Kubernetes-based solutions using modern CI/CD and IaC practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under deadlines
Preferred
Prior experience working with federal client or federal contractor is needed
Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance
