VCU Health is seeking an Administrative Services Specialist to provide executive level administrative support to Vice Presidents or Executive Directors. The role ensures that all administrative assignments are carried out professionally and efficiently, and may also support Division Directors and other senior executives as needed.

Ensures that all administrative assignments are carried out in a professional, timely and confidential manner

Ensures that the office operates efficiently and effectively

May provide administrative support to Division Directors/staff

May provide back-up coverage to other senior level executives as needed

Communicates and interacts with all levels of internal and external contacts

Oversees operational aspects of office

Coordinates/schedules all meetings and makes related arrangements

Types a variety of documents

Screens/refers calls

Handles purchase requisitions and travel reimbursements

May supervise assigned staff or interns/students
