Responsibilities
Facilitates and is accountable for leading the team through the agile ceremonies, including:-
Daily scrums
Sprint demos
Retrospectives
Backlog Grooming
Sprint Planning
PI Planning
Lead, coach and support one or more cross functional Agile teams in implementing and improving Agile practices
Serve as the primary communication hub between product/program management and development teams to anticipate risks, formulate plans and ensure timely sprint delivery
Encourage transparency, decision-making, and conflict resolution to build trust and team cohesion
Collaborate with Product Owners and Managers on short and long term release planning, backlog grooming and prioritization
Partner with program and release managers on production deployment activities
Track, analyze and communicate Agile adoption and performance metrics, including velocity, burn-down, cycle time and quality metrics
Coach teams on user story sizing, acceptance criteria, and Agile process improvements
Collaborate with other Scrum Masters in coordinating Scrum of Scrums across teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
At least 5 years of IT experience and at least 1 year of Scrum execution in IT or software development
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks using Scrum, SAFe and Scaled Agile
Experience leading teams and fostering high performing team dynamics
Proficiency with Agile tools using Jira, Jira Align and Confluence
Solid understanding of iterative and incremental development principles
Preferred
PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification preferred
