Responsibilities

Be proficient with functional and industry knowledge in Airports, Borders and/or Airlines IT, recognized as an expert in own area within the organization
Serve as an advisor, coordinate and guide others in resolving complex issues with implications on cross functional business processes and outcomes
Understand the Airports and/or Borders industry drivers, uses financial indicators to measure performance and effectively drives business decisions; recommends solutions/best practices and strategies in own area
Contribute with the planning and organization of an area and to large scale decision-making processes
Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
Provide leadership and direction to other Managers and contributes to a culture of innovation
Develop the sales and renewal strategy for geographic sub-region in line with business unit long term planning, working in close collaboration with Account Management and Markets teams
Review and contribute to the regional pipeline and prioritization of opportunities in line with LTP
Review product and solution mix in line with opportunities in the region and recommendations to the organization
Qualify opportunities raised by account management in terms of solution fit and revenue potential
Develop and take ownership of the sales strategy, the relationship mapping and the planning for each engagement, with support of account management
Lead large to extra-large deals, independently or supported by Sales Manager
Leadership and strategic thinking to drive the business forward

Required

Major in Business Administration, and/or Systems Technology degree and/or equivalent work experience
15 years work experience in a similar position
Minimum of 10+ years of experience leading a team
Requires experience in Commercial Management, Sales Support, and/or Legal support experience
Previous experience working with Airports, Airlines and/or Government Authorities
Must be able to read/write/speak English, Spanish and/or Portuguese are plus
Understanding of the commercial process, tools and contract environment
Exceptional analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills, ability to handle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines
Expert level in MS office business applications, experience using Salesforce tool is a plus
Experience with Air Transportation required (airports, airlines and/or border authorities)
Ability to travel within the AMERICAS region - 50% and occasionally to Europe
Must be able to work a hybrid working model role
Previous experience working in a global matrix organization
