Responsibilities
Own system-level mechanical design for a next-generation electromechanical medical device
Drive design from concept → build → verification → manufacturing transfer
Architect and develop precision electromechanical assemblies
Author and maintain design documentation, test protocols, reports, and DHF elements
Support verification & validation activities and design changes through formal change control
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in the medical device industry
5+ years designing electromechanical systems involving motors, sensors, motion systems, power, pneumatics, etc
Strong understanding of design controls, risk management, and documentation
SolidWorks proficiency
Precision mechanical design
Tolerance stack-ups and mechanism design
DFMA and reliability engineering
Motion systems and electromechanical integration
Verification & validation expertise
Preferred
Handheld medical devices or medical capital equipment
Handpieces, consoles, and consumable-based systems
Cost-reduction or design-for-scale initiatives
