Responsibilities

Responsible for people management and career development activities including recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluation
Develop and maintain department long-term financial plan, Target Annual Plan (TAP)
Drive business cases development and support project leads in Configuration Control Board meetings
Represent and support Production Engineering teams in management-level progress reviews and cross-sector meetings
Working with and supporting development engineers to converge on an overall design solution that addresses comprehensive production manufacturability with high level of diagnostics for troubleshooting
Responsible for leading production engineering group developing and maintaining module manufacturing processes
Responsible for leading production engineering group investigating technical issues both analytically using design documentation and physically with hands-on in a production environment
Responsible for leading production engineering group supporting operations to deliver modules on time that meet high standards of quality
Report production status, issues, gaps and barriers to Sr. Management. Timely escalate in case of issue that can’t be solved within the own circle of influence
Drive cross-sector teams to achieve high standards of quality for both product and tooling

Required

Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Engineering required; MS or MBA preferred or equivalent experience
5+ years in production/manufacturing challenging technical environment with at least 2+ years of experience in a leadership capacity including direct or indirect people management
Experience directly leading an engineering group
Experience developing manufacturing processes
Experience in developing Manufacturing readiness plans to introduce new products into Production
Experience in leading cross-sector teams to implement Manufacturing readiness plans for new product industrialization
Experience in developing budgetary needs for capital equipment and headcount
Experience in managing new product introduction and industrialization
Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work
Can learn and apply new information or skills
Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents
Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines
Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability
Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements
Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision

Background in manufacturing engineering is preferred
Background in electromechanical equipment/interfaces is preferred
