Responsibilities
Prepare critical areas figures, site plans, and mitigation graphics using AutoCAD
Translate field data, survey information, and raw data into clear and accurate plan sets
Work closely with ecologists, project managers, and landscape designers to refine layouts and ensure compliance with jurisdictional standards
Maintain drawing templates, layers, and title blocks consistent with company standards
Provide drafting support for reports, permit submittals, and construction-ready drawings
Assist with quality control of graphics and figure production for regulatory submittals
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, or related field (Bachelor's a plus)
1–3+ years' experience with AutoCAD
Familiarity with environmental or civil engineering projects (wetlands, grading, stormwater, or similar) strongly desired
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow established drafting standard operating procedures
Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a small, supportive team
Preferred
Working knowledge of GIS (QGIS, ArcGIS or similar) is a plus but not necessary
