Responsible for the overall management, supervision, and assignments of staff allocated to the department

Maximizing the care and treatment progress of the patients served

Demonstrate effective leadership skills

Plan and implement program goals, objectives and activities

Establish program policies that complement existing hospital policies

Analyze complex problems and take appropriate action

Formulate and manage a multidisciplinary patient treatment program

Integrate the program with the overall functions of the hospital

Communicate effectively

Promote the principles of Trauma Informed Care, Quality Improvement

Maintain standards throughout the department to meet regulatory requirements, i.e. Joint Commission and Licensing
