Responsibilities
Deliver expert civil engineering support for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Navy, Marine Corps, and other supported facilities
Lead and contribute to a variety of civil engineering projects such as roads, airfields, drainage, water supply, sewer systems, shore protection, dredging, and site development
Support both new builds and upgrades to existing infrastructure across diverse environments and facility types
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure cohesive, compliant, and efficient design solutions
Evaluate site conditions and contribute to capital improvement plans for federal agencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering design, including at least 1 year supporting Capital Improvement Projects for a Federal Agency
Active PE license in Civil Engineering is highly desired
Proficiency in AutoCAD, civil design/analysis software, Autodesk tools, and Microsoft Office products
Strong working knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and standards including DoD and Navy guide specs
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver presentations and reports
Knowledge of budgeting, planning, and project management processes with the ability to lead and coordinate project teams
Preferred
Familiarity with topographical survey equipment
