Senior Manager, Learning Technology Strategy & Analytics

Fintech Confidential is seeking a Senior Manager, Learning Technology Strategy & Analytics to define and execute a learning technology and data strategy that enhances enterprise learning. The role involves overseeing learning systems, analytics, and processes to ensure alignment with organizational objectives while promoting strategic planning and operational improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a multi-year learning technology and analytics roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities
Evaluate learning platforms, analytics tools, and automation opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency, and insight generation
Support controlled experimentation and continuous improvement across learning delivery and support processes
Own the learning data strategy, including data models, dashboards, reporting, and analytics
Establish frameworks for measuring learning effectiveness, skill development, behavior change, and long-term outcomes
Deliver clear, actionable insights to support decision-making by learning leaders and business stakeholders
Govern the enterprise learning technology ecosystem, including LMS/LXP platforms, integrations, data flows, and operational workflows
Define technology standards, evaluation criteria, and vendor management practices that promote reliability, scalability, and data quality
Partner with IT and People Operations teams to ensure systems meet security, compliance, and business requirements
Lead pragmatic application of automation and AI to improve learning operations, reporting efficiency, and learner experience
Identify and address inefficiencies across the learning lifecycle from intake and design through delivery and measurement
Ensure all solutions are secure, ethical, and sustainable
Act as a strategic advisor to senior learning leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
Collaborate with learning, IT, and People Operations teams to enable effective use of learning technology and analytics
Influence internal partners on data-informed decision-making practices
May manage a small team or coordinate matrixed resources

Required

8+ years of experience in learning technology, learning analytics, learning operations, or related disciplines
3+ years of experience leading learning technology, analytics, or cross-functional teams
Demonstrated expertise with LMS/LXP platforms, learning technology ecosystems, system integrations, and vendor management
Strong experience designing dashboards, analyzing learning data, and translating insights into business recommendations
Proven ability to define and execute data and technology strategies in complex environments
Strong program management, prioritization, and execution skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to operate independently in a dynamic, evolving environment

Preferred

Experience in large or regulated enterprise environments
Familiarity with skills intelligence platforms, xAPI/LRS implementations, and modern data architectures
Hands-on experience with learning analytics tools, workflow automation platforms, or data governance practices
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ATD, CPTD)
