Student IT Business Operations Assistant

Responsibilities
Provides critical administrative and procurement assistance for the Business Operations Team in researching, gathering, and processing information used to assemble procurement/contracts such as accessibility and security documentation and software exemption requests
Assists with UITS purchase requests and maintaining Box file receipts for transaction verifications
Welcomes visitors to the Office of the CIO when the Executive Assistant is away from their desk
Responsible for office management, reports, documentation, special projects and other duties as assigned
Ensures regular reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty
Creates and maintains collegial, harmonious working relationships with others
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
At least one year of experience in administrative support or office management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Experience with software application programs, database management and accounting principles
Regular reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty
Ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others
Preferred
Knowledge of UARK operations, policies, procedures, applicable laws and regulations
Demonstrated success communicating, written and verbal, with a broad range of diverse stakeholders including Campus Partners including, faculty, and students
