Research Analyst
The University of Kentucky is seeking a dedicated and skilled Research Analyst to support its mission of utilizing plant-based technologies to benefit Kentucky agriculture. This position plays a vital role in advancing farm research by overseeing day-to-day operations and managing the KTRDC farm team while providing support to faculty and staff investigators.
Education
Responsibilities
Overseeing day-to-day operations such as sowing seeds, seedling production, maintaining float beds, crop husbandry, ensuring proper hygiene and pest control, and operating tractors and related equipment
Managing the KTRDC farm team
Providing essential support to the research activities of faculty and staff investigators
Qualification
Required
MS
No experience required
None
Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 lbs., walking, standing or sitting for long periods of time, etc. Operation of tractor and farm machinery; working in greenhouse. May work outside in all types of weather (heat, cold, rain, etc.) as required for projects
Farm experience; and operation of tractor and other farm equipment
Preferred
Master's Degree preferred with experience
