They are seeking a self-motivated mid- to senior-level Engineer to support domestic and international mining projects, focusing on civil design for mine waste and water engineering, project management, and business development.

Responsibilities
Execution and technical participation in civil design for mine waste and water engineering, permitting, and closure projects
Project management of technical deliverables, budgets, and schedules
Participation in conceptual through detailed design and permitting processes
Preparation and review of supporting engineering calculations, models, methods
Interface with clients and completion of site visits / inspections as necessary
Active engagement in development and/or advancement of SRK`s engineering practice
Active engagement and participation in business development
Active engagement in mentoring others
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in Civil or Mining Engineering or a related field
Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Alaska or ability to obtain registration
Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining industry
Ability and desire to collaborate with other technical specialists in mining, geochemistry, geotechnics, groundwater and environmental disciplines in a team-oriented environment
Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong inter-personal communication and writing skills
Proficiency in civil engineering design software and methodologies
Preferred
Professional consulting services experience
Proficiency in Civil3D
