Solar Project Finance Analyst

Wunder is building a Modern Energy Company focused on accelerating the deployment of solar energy. The Solar Project Finance Analyst will evaluate properties for solar, generate accurate offers for customers, conduct market research, and support transaction structuring to align with investment criteria.

Responsibilities

Evaluate properties for solar
Generate highly accurate offers for customers that maximize value
Drive expansion efforts through detailed market research
Act as a strategic thought partner for the business development team
Aid in structuring transactions to fit investment and risk criteria
Manage a fast-moving workload, requiring the ability to re-prioritize on the fly
Work directly with the Tech team to encode market intelligence into our software

Required

Recent graduate with a solid foundation built upon strong internships, part-time roles, or full-time position
Focused on Project Management, Finance, Economics, Energy, or adjacent industries
Comfortable managing details, digging into spreadsheets, conducting market research, thinking analytically, and working cross-functionally
Ability to operate in a fast-moving, multi-threaded environment
Enjoy building broad context across many initiatives and moving multiple workstreams forward at once
Quick to respond, adapt easily, and see flexibility as a core strength
Detail-oriented and quantitative
Comfortable in a spreadsheet and able to make presentations that require quantitative explanations at the executive level
Client-focused with a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
Open communicator about obstacles and opportunities, eager to learn and improve processes
Thrives in a creative, inventive, fast-paced rapid-growth environment
Ability to articulate and roll out solutions, recognizing multiple solutions to the same problem
Willing to relocate to the Boulder/Denver area
