System Administrator
TTC, Inc. is currently seeking a Live-Synthetic Environment System Administrator to work at Nellis Air Force Base. The role involves installing and configuring software and hardware, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring security protocols are followed.
Responsibilities
Install and configure ShOC-N’s Live-Synthetic Environment (LSE) software and hardware
Set up accounts and workstations
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to risk management framework requirements
Troubleshoot issues and outages
Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
Upgrade systems with new releases and models
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
Manages and maintains VMware virtualized environments. May also manage VMware solutions like vSAN and vRealize Operations
Deploys, configures, and monitors virtual machines (VMs)
Qualification
Required
Must have a Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; or, have at least four (4) years of relevant experience
Must have proven experience as a System Administrator
Must have a Secret Clearance with eligibility to upgrade to TS/SCI
Requires knowledge of VMware products like vSphere, vCenter, vMotion, and DRS
Preferred
Professional certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is desired
Should have experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
Should have knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language desired
