Responsibilities

Develop construction documents, including plans and details for building structures

Prepare calculations for steel, wood, concrete, and masonry structures

Coordinate with architecture and other engineering disciplines

Interact with clients to discuss project requirements

Visit sites as necessary and prepare field reports

Required

Minimum 5+ years of Structural Engineering Design experience

Proven experience desired designing structural systems for commercial, residential, industrial buildings, multi-family dwellings, daycare centers, and retail

Must have expertise in designing steel, wood frames, and concrete buildings

Familiarity with current IBC and ASCE 7 codes

AutoCAD and/or Revit experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with an emphasis on Structural from an accredited school of Engineering
