Event Coordinator - Contractual
NEOGOV is seeking an Event Coordinator for the Wakefield Valley Park Event Center. This contractual position involves coordinating event communication, scheduling, and on-site execution to ensure a positive client experience.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and confirmed clients as needed for booked events
Prepare event proposals, agreements, and invoices
Provide clients with information regarding venue amenities, policies, and available services
Maintain an up-to-date event schedule and ensure accurate details for all booked events, rehearsals, and venue activities
Oversee event setup and breakdown in coordination with clients and their vendors, ensuring specifications are addressed
Communicate facility maintenance concerns to the appropriate maintenance or venue representatives
Support the venue’s condition by monitoring and reporting issues that require attention before, during, or after events
Perform limited, light cleanup tasks only as they relate to ensuring a presentable event environment (e.g., spot checks), not routine janitorial services
Availability to provide services during nights, weekends, and peak event hours as needed for scheduled events
Knowledge of local vendors and current event trends
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with event setup coordination (e.g., walking, standing, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.)
Reliable transportation and ability to be onsite as projects require
