Graduate Electrical Engineer- Houston Area
Dashiell is a leading national provider of technical services to the electric utility and power generation industries. The Graduate Electrical Engineer will perform engineering and design duties under close supervision, contributing to utility substation and transmission line designs, quality reviews, and project management tasks.

Responsibilities
Applies sound engineering principals and standards to utility substation or transmission line designs
Assures all project deliverables meet the technical requirements of the project
Assists in the performance of the quality review of all project documents and make sure all project quality reviews adhere to company QA/QC practices and procedures
Assists in the preparation of specifications and material lists
Populate project change log throughout the project cycle with adequate out-of-scope descriptions and hours associated with the additional work
Populate the project RFI log throughout the project cycle and follow-up on information required within the log
Work with Supervising Engineers and Project Managers to make sure projects are completed on schedule and within project budget
Assists with performing Project Close-Out and As-Built revisions
Visits construction sites with Project Engineer to inspect work in progress or completed, as required by client
Additional duties as assigned by the Supervising Engineer or Project Engineer
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a university with a graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026
Currently majoring in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent major; power focus is preferred
Must be eligible to work in the U.S., currently and in the future, without visa sponsorship
Preferred
Prior internship and/or related work experience in the power field is a plus
