Manage production planning team and daily operations
Develop and maintain production schedules and material plans
Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and purchasing
Track progress, report metrics, and resolve scheduling conflicts
Implement planning procedures and process improvements
Manage engineering changes and schedule impacts
Utilize ERP/MRP systems and planning software
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years in production planning or manufacturing leadership in shipbuilding
Strong ERP and Excel skills
Ability to read technical and production drawings
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
AutoCAD
CostPoint/Floor2Plan
PMP certification
