The VP, Controller will manage a team and oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities, while driving process improvements and supporting complex transaction processes.

Responsibilities

Own the external reporting calendar and lead the preparation of all filings, including quarterly and annual financial statements

Oversee all accounting operations across core functions (GL, AP/AR, payroll, tax) and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close

Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and internal controls, including SOX compliance

Act as point of contact for external auditors and manage all audit and compliance requirements

Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions (e.g. M&A, lease accounting, equity treatment)

Support investor and board reporting, including prep for earnings calls and financial presentations

Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Treasury, and other departments to support strategic business initiatives

Lead and develop a team of 10+ accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and hands-on execution
