Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information System, or a related field

Minimum 8+ Years Related Technology Experience, financial industry experience a plus

Demonstrated experience of full Software Development Life Cycle using Java/J2EE technologies, responsive and performant web applications using the Angular framework, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development

Proficient with designing and developing RESTful services using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Swagger, Docker, YAML, JSON

Proficient with designing and developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) and reusable web component using Angular framework and bootstrap

Proficient in working with Oracle, creating & managing database objects like tables, views, indexes, Stored Procs and optimizing database performance through query tuning, indexing, analyzing performance reports

Experience with Application development and integrating terraform with Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools – Jenkins for automated deployments

Experience with source code and project administration tools such as GIT, JIRA

Experience with AWS EKS, Lambda, S3 and overall AWS based application development / deployment

Experience with designing, implementing and managing infrastructure using Terracore and Terraform

Knowledge of batch job scheduling and dependency management using BMC Control-M for distributed systems

Agile environment work experience. Collaborate with Agile team members to build comprehensive and cohesive solution approaches. Support project and release planning

Proven ability to work in a high paced, dynamic, and culturally diverse environment

An aptitude for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code. Experience with building and maintaining unit tests and mock services using Jest, JUnit, Mockito unit testing framework

Demonstrated expertise with critical thinking and decision-making skills

Ability to take up new challenges and explore new technology/tools

Strong data driven problem-solving abilities. Collaborate with cross squads to define, design, and ship high-quality software solutions

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to optimally convey technical concepts
